Visit our Austin Main Campus

Experiencing campus first-hand is one of the best ways to get to know a university. On a visit to Concordia University Texas Main Campus, you'll become familiar with the characteristics that make CTX such a unique place to pursue your academic goals. Whether you join us for an individual tour or a designated visit day, you will leave knowing what being a Tornado is all about!

Closed for the Holidays on:
Thanksgiving Holiday: November 26th – 29th
Christmas Holiday:  December 24th – January 3rd

Please note that there will be no campus visits available on these days.

Individual Tours

We give individual tours Monday through Friday at 9:00 am and 2:00 pm.  You must register for these tours at least three days in advance to ensure we are prepared for your arrival. During your tour you will have the opportunity to view our academic and student life facilities including our classrooms, gym and residence halls amenities.

If you have any questions about the individual tours, please email us at  We invite you to schedule a visit to campus on Saturday. These will be scheduled by appointment only.

Group Tours

We have specific days for large junior high and high school group tours.

You must register for these tours at least two weeks in advance to ensure we are prepared for your arrival. Please complete our online Group Tour Registration Form to register. If you have any questions about the group tours, please email us at or call at 512-313-4CTX.

All group visit days begin at 11:00 am and include an admissions presentation and hour long walking tour.


Please note the following group tour restrictions:

  • Due to space limitations, groups are not permitted to eat in the Dining Hall.
  • We cannot promise a residence hall room will be available for viewing during every tour.
  • No tours will stop at the bookstore. 
  • We require one chaperone per ten students. Classes will be in session during your visit, so we ask chaperones assist our student tour guides in keeping the group quiet to avoid disruptions. Tour guides will stop tours and return to admissions if the group becomes a distraction to classes in session.

C3 - Concordia Counselor Connection

Concordia Counselor Connection is an event for high school, junior college and community college counselors to network, share best practices, hear about college admission trends and leave re-energized about the profession. There will also be opportunities to hear about exciting programs and events happening at Concordia University Texas, tour our beautiful campus, and meet students and faculty.

Tornado Road Trip (Overnight)

Tornado Road Trip will be unlike anything you have ever experienced. Fun and informative, prospective students will stay overnight on campus with a current student as a host. You will get to experience campus life just as a current student does. You must register for Road Trip so we are prepared for your arrival.

CTX Commitment

Saturday, December 12th from 10:00 am to 1:30 pm
Optional Campus Tour at 1:30 pm

An exclusive event for admitted students to make their official commitment to Concordia University Texas.  We invite you to campus to enjoy brunch while networking with our executive staff.  Admissions Counselors will be on hand to answer questions you have about your next steps.

For students not yet admitted, review the Freshman Admission Requirements to complete your application and submit your test scores and transcript. After you have been evaluated for admission and been accepted, we encourage you to register for the event.

Attend the event and be eligible for the $1,000 CTX Event Award.*
